Principal Attorney

Walter Weiss

Walter Weiss has practiced law in California since being admitted to the bar in 1976, following his graduation from Loyola Law School Los Angeles. Over the course of his career, he has built a practice centered on tax law, estate planning, and business matters, developing a reputation for precise, well-considered counsel.

His recognition by Super Lawyers across more than a decade of selections — spanning 2006 to 2014 and again from 2020 to 2025 — reflects a sustained standard of peer-recognized practice in tax and related fields. He is also credentialed with the American College of Trial Lawyers.

Founded in 2004, Walter Weiss, A Law Corporation was built around a simple premise: clients facing complex tax, estate, and business matters deserve direct access to experienced counsel, not layers of delegation.

Our Approach

How the firm works with clients

I.

Direct Access

Clients work with experienced counsel from the first conversation through resolution — not a rotating team of associates.

II.

Technical Depth

Tax controversy, international tax, and estate matters demand precision. The firm's practice is built around that depth.

III.

Discretion

Matters involving personal wealth, family, and business are handled with the confidentiality they require.
